Barry Sanders to serve as USA Football Ambassador
Former running back for the Detroit Lions and Hall of Famer, Barry Sanders will work with the Heads-Up Football Program to ensure player safety as an official USA Football Ambassador. Former running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers, doesn’t plan on hearing any running backs announced for the NFL Draft on Thursday. “There’s the devaluing of the running back position,” Bettis told USA TODAY Sports. “I don’t know if there’s one running back in this year’s draft where people say he’s going to be a first round pick. I don’t know when the last time that’s been the case. You see devaluing of the running backs and the higher valuation of the offensive line.
