Kris Wilson Heroic TD In Win Over Texans
Baltimore, MD (1/17/12)-APSE client Kris Wilson stepped up for the Baltimore Ravens when they needed it the most. On a third-and-goal play at the Houston one-yard line in the first quarter of the Ravens’ 20-13 victory Sunday, quarterback Joe Flacco faked a handoff, stepped up and hit a wide-open Wilson for the touchdown. Wilson fell to the ground, cradling the ball to make sure it didn’t come free.
When asked about the play Wilson responded, “Any time your number gets called, you can’t get too high or too nervous. You just have to do what you know how to do.”
Before Sunday’s game, Wilson had three playoffs receptions, including one for a touchdown.
