Smithfield, RI (1/20/12) – Matt Tracey had a dominant year in his senior season with the Bryant Bulldogs, earning several awards and he continues to be recognized.   Tracey, who was named the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) Elite Tight End this past week, has also been named an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) All-Star.  He and a teammate were honored as was named a Second Team Offensive All-Star to compliment his outstanding season.  Tracey was recognized as an Honorable Mention Tight End of the Week five times by the CFPA and his recent awards serve as validation for his hard work.

Tracey had a very accomplished career at Bryant University, becoming what many believe, the best tight end in school history. He finished his career as the all-time leader in touchdown receptions and second in catches.  We applaud Tracey for his continuous recognition and awards and have faith they will continue at the next level.
